A day of hands-on exploration with wool for kids & adults of all ages!
Please come to our 2nd annual Sheep to Shawl, exploring the wonderful world of wool and other fibers. There will be hands-on activities and demonstrations of carding, spinning, knitting, weaving, felting and natural dyeing, fun for both children and adults! Watch a sheep being sheared, and learn about the different breeds of sheep that are raised in the Capay Valley.
This year, there will also be a tour of Veriditas Farm, a local sheep farm, at 10am before the event starts at the Grange Hall. Check the Facebook Sheep to Shawl page for directions.
Entrance is FREE, with a homemade organic lunch available for $5, with all donations going to the Grange Hall restoration.
