Contra Dancing is a form of American folk dance popular in the 1800s, in which the dancers form a set of two parallel lines which run the length of the hall. Each dance is taught by the caller, and beginners are welcome. There is live music and the dances have a relaxed, family-like atmosphere and are FUN! This is a bi-annual event.
