Capay Valley Vision — a nonprofit whose founders are leaders from both the community and the Yocha Dehe Wintun Nation — will be holding its 14th Taste of Capay to celebrate Capay Valley farms, farmers and our way of life. The event features a sit-down dinner prepared by local chefs using meats, produce and other products sourced from Capay Valley farms and ranches. Also featured are wine and olive oil tastings , music and silent and live auctions.
Capay Valley has always striven for the best of ‘local, organic and sustainable’, from past centuries of Yocha Dehe Wintun Nation commitment to stewardship of our land, to our current small, rural farming communities of today. The Taste of Capay celebrates the “farm to fork” culture of the past and today.
